Norwegian-born Superintendent Henry Larsen of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police navigated the Northwest Passage on a tiny schooner, the St. Roch from 1940-1942. With eight crew members they sailed on June 21, 1940 from Vancouver Harbor, Canada. Here is their story.
