Julian Pettifer reports from Castle Carrock – a small village in the Pennines, near Carlisle – where farmer William Wilson has taken to fitting overcoats onto his sheep. Farmer Wilson estimates that the coats have saved him almost £2000 in one year, and he has now patented them.
