Fantastic silent home movie (soundtrack added) of a trip to Florida from North Manchester, Indiana. Full titles throughout, so you’re never left guessing what is going on. Notably John D. Rockefeller & Mark Honeywell are featured in the film.
Film covers them traveling south through to Florida; return journey has them travel the coastline and looping back to home in Indiana. Filmed by Thomas A. Peabody (1881-1944) of the Peabody School Furniture Company. His uncle Simon J. Peabody, founded the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona; and his house is shown as the “Peabody Hotel”, at 21 N Halifax Drive, which is on the Natl. Reg. of Historic Places.
