Private First Class Isabella Gonzales from Carrollton, Texas, enlisted in the U.S. Army right after graduating high school at just 18. Serving with the 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, she deployed to the Middle East to defend Allied airspace. Tragically, on July 17, her position at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan was struck during a devastating enemy attack, taking her life at only 19 years old.
